What is this activity?
This retrospective template was inspired by the movie "Inside Out" and is designed to explore the emotions that influence team performance. By using the main emotions from the film – Joy, Sadness, Anger, and Fear – this template facilitates a deep and meaningful discussion about teamwork, collaboration, and results. Additionally, an extra column called "Control Tower" is used to define concrete actions to be implemented in the next sprint.

How to conduct this activity
This template consists of 5 columns: 1. Joy: Celebrate the moments of success and achievements that brought happiness and motivation to the team. Questions to consider: - What were our biggest triumphs? - What brought us the most satisfaction and positive energy? - How can we replicate these successes in the future? 2. Sadness: Reflect on the challenges and disappointments, recognizing areas where we can improve. Questions to consider: - What were the most discouraging moments? - What could we have done differently to avoid these feelings? - How can we support each other during difficult times? 3. Anger: Discuss moments of frustration and identify their causes to avoid them in the future. Questions to consider: - What caused us irritation or frustration? - What were the main sources of conflict? - How can we resolve or mitigate these problems? 4. Fear: Share concerns and anxieties, seeking ways to face them with more confidence. Questions to consider: - What are our biggest concerns? - What makes us feel insecure or apprehensive? - How can we better prepare to face these challenges? 5. Control Tower: Define concrete actions to be implemented in the next sprint. Questions to consider: - What practical steps can we take to improve? - Who will be responsible for each action? - How will we track the progress of these actions?
